Discovery Days can support curriculum delivery in multiple subjects including Art, History, English, PSHE and Citizenship and have been shown to support the development of higher cognitive skills such as evaluative thinking and creativity. You can see a sample Discovery Day schedule here.
Throughout the course of one day, students explore art works through:
Participants are introduced to tips on how to conquer nerves, physically prepare, and successfully deliver a presentation to large audiences.
At the end of the Discovery Days, every student demonstrates their research and personal responses in short group presentations.
As part of our programme of outreach, ARTiculation Discovery Days are fully funded by our sponsors and are open to state sector schools only.
The transformation in the students from the start of the day was astounding! They grew in skills and confidence—thank you!
