ARTiculation Prize England

ARTiculation takes place in 9 regions in England. Each region holds a Regional Heat and supporting outreach workshops. Workshops are available to non-selective state maintained schools and take place from September to December. In preparation for 2018, ARTicualtion will be delivering in schools introductory sessions in three areas of regional development: Manchester, Kent and the South West. Schools are required to hold an internal school heat from November to December to select a student to represent their school at the Regional Heat. In the London area, schools will be required to enter a quarter final where students will be selected to go through to the London Regional Heat held at the National Gallery.

The ARTiculation Symposium and Finals take place at Clare College, Cambridge.  All schools are invited to attend the ARTiculation Symposium and Final regardless of candidates’ selection. The Symposium is designed to engage students in looking at and talking about art and architecture, as well as offering an insight into university life. The day includes:

  • A key note lecture presented by an art historian
  • Tours of the university art collections given by University of Cambridge undergraduates
  • A university fair
  • Q & A with the Tutors for Admissions and Access

The 2017 ARTiculation Symposium and Finals took place on Friday 10 March 2017, 10.00am – 4.00pm, at Clare College, Cambridge

ARTiculation 2017 has now passed.
